RUN A CAMPAIGN ON PINTEREST
Pinterest has grabbed the attention of many businesses, as the platform is nothing but a powerful tool to get target customers. Pinterest is a social platform where companies can pin their posts and other members in the community can get to see what a brand has to offer.
Here are the steps to run a campaign on Pinterest:
1. Register for a business account on Pinterest:
The very first step to promote your brand is to get a business account on Pinterest. If you already have one, change it to a business profile. To that account, add pins that you wish to promote. Go to your profile and launch an ad by clicking on ”create ad”. Then select the kind of campaign you want to run i.e. awareness, traffic or engagement. Once your post is ready, choose the dates and set the budget.
2. Define your target audience:
Select the people who can view your post. The user must also decide the web page where the audience will land after clicking on the promotion. Track all the information of your visiting customer by using an UTM tracker. Add keywords in your posts depending upon your ad strategy. Pinterest also gives a list of trending keywords from which a customer can choose as per the relevancy. In case you are not meeting your expectation, add the keywords manually that suits your posts.
3. Pay for the Promoted Pin Results:
The marketer can fix the bidding amount for the campaign. Pinterest uses the second-price model for auction. The platform provides guidance on the bid. Before the campaign start, there is a 24-hour window where Pinterest reviews the post and approves it.
4. Track your conversions:
Use Pinterest’s conversion tracking feature to see the results of the campaign. You can view the number of purchases, signups, repins and page visits. Pinterest users can select the type of conversion he wishes to track to get a snippet code. That code can be added to the page.
