Snapchat is one of the strongest social media channels that is used by many businesses for promoting their brands. More than a 100 million audience visit Snapchat daily and send their photographs, videos, and create stories. The application is very popular among teenagers mostly along with college students, entrepreneur etc. With such as huge audience base, one can advertise using Snapchat to get higher conversions. 1. Snap:
A snap is a simple video or an image that is sent through the app to the other users on Snapchat. A snap lasts only 10 secs and disappears thereafter. A user can replay it only once.
2. Stories:
It is a feature of Snapchat where you can upload several photos and videos and showcase them to your friends and other users. One can also see stories of other Snapchat users by swiping the screen on the left.
3. Snapchat score
: It is a number that can be seen on the profile page under the username. It tells the count of snaps and stories being sent and received so far between you and the other users. It is a kind of a rank that tells you where you stand among other users and friends.
4. Filter:
Filters are used to enhance the snaps before they are uploaded. Filters are based on location, events, holidays etc.
5. Snap lenses:
You can use them to add animated effects on your photos and videos.
6. Geofilter:
These filters work as per your current location. You can also create the paid Geofilter.
7. Snapcode:
It is the QR code of your profile that is used to find a user or a profile.
8. Snapcode selfie:
You can customize your snap code by adding a selfie, which can be seen by your friends and other users.
9. Chat:
It is an instant messenger that can be used for communication. Once the messages are read, they are deleted. In case a screenshot of chat is captured, the user shall be notified.
10. Memories:
To post some of your old snaps, access your snap memory that stores all your images. You can either make it public or private.
